That's the thing with computer memory.  I recall when one of my
clients bought a terabyte storage system about 10 or so years ago.  We
did this huge RFP and spent weeks reviewing all the possibilites, and
then they spent thousands of dollars for the storage.  I now have a
terabyte of storage sitting on my kitchen table, and it cost less than
a grand.
