Well here's what one guy said, but there are lots of interesting answers:

"Bush double crossed Olmert and Israel, forcing them to submit to the
terrorists.

How much this is Sec. Rice's fault is hard to determine, but I'll say 70%.

Both Bush and Israel were indecisive and failed to go full bore. Bush
should have shipped more powerful weapons to Israel so it could finish
the job.

Instead, he forced Israel to sue for peace, just as Hezbolla was suing
for peace.

Now he's facing duplicity by France, as usual, and a failed
international force, led by the terrorists' apologist, UN Sec. Anan.

At President Bush's press conference this morning, no reporter asked,

"Mr. President, your supporters at the beginning of the Iraq War are
expressing bitter disappointment because, they say, you have failed to
provide the leadership needed to win that war. Do you have any plans
to send a general who will win the war to Iraq and supply him with the
several hundred thousand troops needed to get the job done, or not?"

And the same question could be asked about Israel:

"Mr. President, are you seeing a pattern in Iraq and Israel in that
neither you nor Israel are willing to do what's necessary to devastate
and conquer the enemy—that you are tentative and seem to fear winning?
Why is that, Mr. President?"
