That's an interesting scientific study in evolution and biological
processes. How, in any way shape or form, could that be used as a basis for
an Intelligent Designer?

ID invariably takes a leap that is impossible in science. They can cite
100's of interesting studies, but their conclusion that it proves a higher
being will ALWAYS be a deal breaker.

I accept this as an interesting piece of science. It is being

It could, and it's a wonderful example of science at work. It may extend our
knowledge of evolution, it may augment it, it may even refute it. But what
it will never do, what it simply cannot do, is augment or refute the
existence of God.

I feel this is rather premature and very advanced to be currently included

I'd have no problem with this bit of experimentation being mentioned in high
school curriculums. It's important to know the studies going on in
evolutionary sciences. But the scientific conclusion can't be that science
hasn't figure this out yet, so it might be God.

It very well MIGHT be God....but science can't prove that.
