I think the European Union is screwed up and that's a great thing. They are essentially a bunch of very autonomous selfish states trying to live under one currency and one set of laws for the purpose of economies of scale in trade and security. Sound familiar? That's what the US should be! BTW - their economy is now growing faster that US's.
