Well, my point was the irony of a fat guy, who's also an avid liberal
basher, blaming obesity on liberals. But let's talk about the points
you bring up:

(1.) As I understand it, food stamps can be used to buy food - any food.

(2.) More importantly, even if they only buy potato chips Limbaugh
claims to push a conservative philosophy, a major tenant of which is
personal responsibility. He should be blaming the people, therefore,
not the government. To a real conservative (and he's only a fake one)
it's the people's fault, not the government's.

The reason for this is simple: obesity is caused by more calories in
than calories out. Even if all of your calories are from food stamp
potato chips, that doesn't mean you have to be obese; that's a choice.

We can talk about macro-nutrients, nutrient timing, etc but if someone
doesn't know and/or care about that then even if the liberal
government provides any and all foods, they'll still get fat and be
unhealthy.

For example, fish contains Omega-3 fatty acids which humans should get
in at least a 4:1 proportion with Omega-6, but very few do or even
know this. And, of course, fish also contains mercury. (BTW, I
recommend FlameOut to get this important nutrient)

So it's about choices. That is, personal responsibility. If
anything, Limbaugh should be criticizing education, but for a
conservative he should be criticizing people.
