Sea Lions, bat rays, bass, sea urchins, sea cucumbers, lobster, octopus, and
enough garibaldi to make you go blind... 

There is a lot of stuff around the kelp.  Lots of divers hate kelp, but I
like it.  It is where a lot of the marine life is.

Off Laguna, you have reefs.. again, more life.
