The majority of those of you who participate in this sort of jerk-off are in fact Bush supporters, and were very much unconcerned about Bush's attempt to postpone the last election, based on the fact that it was enunciated by an underling, as if the man has not made a career out of delegating responsibility, and that hey, he was kidding. For the record, I think that postponing any election is a bad idea. I have not researched this particular proposal for context, and if it's serious, I suspect that Venezuelans are smarter than you give them credit for. But hey, you all are smarter than everyone else, right?
You validate one another in a sort of unexamined and unthinking conservatism. One or two of you have come to realize that Bush is not a conservative, which I would consider to be a good thing, but you don't care about my opinion anyway. Please pardon me for interrupting the mutual admiration society. Meanwhile, this morning I picked up a rather interesting project, and I was already pretty scheduled, so it's boiling down to this -- I can do the work I have committed to, or I can argue economics with a bunch of programmers who have demonstrated that they know nothing about economics and don't care to learn. I think I'll do the more intelligent thing.
