I agree and I think this has happened for 3 core reasons: 1.) Transition from the industrial economy to the information economy. 2.) The obvious failure of liberal initiatives such Welfare, Cabrini Green, etc 3.) Guns, Gays, and God. Basically the labor movement has imploded and your average Joe SixPack no longer sees his future with unions, but with himself, low taxes, and strong business. At the same time Republicans have leveraged tyranny-of-the-minority issues such as Gay Marriage. In short I think what's happened is that the traditional base of liberals has moved to the center rather than anyone moving "right". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:215000 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
