This is why liberals can't win nationally. People are justifiably concerned that they would have no freaking idea of what to do about Islamic terrorism, that they would, in the name of political correctness, fail to confront the enemy until it was too late. I believe this is a large part of the reason that Chris Hitchens bolted from the Left a few years ago. He saw how the Left was in a state of complete denial about external threats to our country and he couldn't stand it.
