Sure, but knowledge is the secondary part of what these schools sell
and not of value compared to talent.

To get in you have to be one of the smartest people in the World (as
measured by standardized tests and GPA), have a good disposition, be
able to communicate effectively, and have professional references.
Further, the 2-3 years spent are in an intensely competitive
environment with similar personalities.

Talent is always worth 10x more than knowledge because, as you pointed
out, knowledge is easy to get.
