Oh man, that's awful! It's amazing what kind of damage non-tech people can do when they get their hands on a database. Actually, i've seen plenty of TECHIE people make disaster areas out of their DB's.
I still think I have the ultimate mess though: our DB is case sensitive. We have tons of flag fields....."n" does NOT equal "N". Ridiculous.
