I personally love Joe Theisman.

I was in Little League Baseball with his son (maybe 1974 and 75), and
he came to bunches of games, and always stayed late and signed any
autographs and answered any questions kids had. (He wouldn't sign
autographs while the teams were playing though).

Regardless of anything he has done since then, he was the epitome of
class as a young professional athlete.

(But, you just _might_ have a point).
