I don't agree it's all "luck".

Sometimes sure, I mean hell, almost all cards is luck, evenoon big
hands, but it also depends on who you are playing with. If people limp
in when the blinds are 10/20, and I have 7 10, and limp in with them in
late position, and the flop comes 10 5 2, and they then check around to
me, it's pretty safe to say they didn't hit that. I'll raise now to see
if anyone did. If I have callers, depending on what the turn is and if
they check again, I'll check. More often than not, I win this hand.

OBVIOUSLY I am not going to call someone raising big in front of me with
such a bad hand. They could of limped in with pocket 2's.

Sometimes the situation says why not play a bad hand. Last night I was
in the big blind for 800. Someone goes all in for 1100. Everyone folds
except the small blind who figured it wasn't too much more to call and
he had the chips. My turn. I am holding 9 5 off suit. Not the best of
hands, but it's only 300 to call. The pot has 2900. That's great pot
odds to call 300 more with a 9 5.

Flop comes 6 7 8 rainbow. Small blind checks and I go all in. He folds.
Now the first guy and I are heads up. He turns over Q 5. I have the
straight already. Turn and river were nothing. He was drawing dead.

Not a bad pot for a bad hand. :)

Cheers,
Erika

##| Well, I hope your luck doesn't run out then...because if
##| you keep playing bad hands, eventually the odds will even out.
