They want everything to be quiet and peaceful and have the foreign military
presence out. All understandable things that any sane person would want. As
for opinions about what people think will happen if the coalition military
leaves, I would suggest this poll is no different than any poll where you
ask the general public to consider a complicated question. The general
public doesn't always come up with a well-informed or well-considered
answer. That's why we don't have a direct democracy.

The California ballott initiative system is a perfect example of the perils
of direct democracy. Voters figured out they could rob the state treasury
through ballott initiatives, and that's what they did.
