Have you tried putting an align left on the image to see if the text will flow around it? I like the new design with the nav in the header, although I would tend to make the color bright all the way across the top and right justify the nav with the bright orange behind it. It gets lost in the fade. Also if you so with that one, the text needs to be brighter or larger.
