I don't think you have to be a beer snob to discount Bud as not a good
beer. Bud is just bland beer that's been toned down for the masses.
My buddy and I were talking about this the other day...American beer
companies (large ones) are really, really, smart. They've made their
beers very easy to drink and easy in large quantities. They're able
to sell more this way. It doesn't take any kind of effort to polish
off a six pack of keystone. One of my good friends throughout college
would actually start off with a case of Keystone on Friday night, and
we'd know by 1:00am if we needed to got get more beer for him. It's
that easy to drink.

BTW, I made my weekly lunch trip to the Flying Saucer (208 beers
available) yesterday and had an Anchor Old Foghorn......Very tasty!
Served in a brandy snifter and bordering on a wine. They said it has
a higher alcohol content than regular beers and I must say that seemed
to play out. Luckily it wasn't my turn to drive :)
