Money Rant (sorry it's long and mostly pointless) Begins:

Heh. You gotta have money to spend money... or is it,
the more money you make, the more money you make... no, wait...
Can you still make a certain amount of money and then just live off
of the interest? I was always planning on getting there- you know,
that point where your money is making you money, just by being
there... I figured, the more you have, the more you make, but I
could be a bit out of touch... and never having been there myself,
it could be one of those "the grass is greener over there" type
whatsitz... It's really a pain in the ass to be super rich, watch.
At least I'm not in that 99% poor bracket, like most the world, neh?
Poor slobs. They should get with the program. Yeah- could become
politicians- Get into office... Then they'd get tons of "free" stuff,
money, cars, women... (even more after they themselves start lobbying!)
Yes, We could all be princes! Then, camel washing would be like a sport...
Or they could buy an old table for $25 that goes at auction for
$490,000... yeah, that's the ticket.
What pisses me off is when "we" waste it, just so someone else can pocket it.
I mean, yeah, that's the way it's spozed to work... but not for badness...
Yeah, Halliburton looks like a fish, smells like a fish... generally,
I'd say it's pretty fishy.
What's scary, is that no one in power seems to care. Some voters,
maybe, but still. ;]
We can hope it comes out in the wash, I reckon.
*giggles* I know, I'm just being silly- but somehow we gotta factor
this stuff in, especially since we're a "global" economy "now"... all
the dike and dam building, which seems to make us so strong, might
just result in losing that which we so dearly love, and indeed- need.
Bah. I don't know. I wish I'd made more than half cents of interest
off my savings this year.

Disregard this whole post. I wondered off topic, so to speak, and I
don't even know
what my point really is, or if I had one, or anything really worthy of sharing.
I will now go get the cat o' nine tails, and give myself a thorough lashing.

Maybe I need some food... yea.. mmmm... food. I think I'll savor it
even more so,
tonight, than normal. So easy to forget how well we're really doing,
relatively...
