Damn. I was hoping that bag of flab Steinbrenner was going to make a stupid, emotional decision and fire Torre. I seriously thought that would the bottom card in the house of cards that is the Yankees. Collapse was imminent. He's a great manager. The problem, in my eyes, is that the late 90's great Yankees teams were TEAMS, and now he's got a bunch of overpaid, prima-donna individuals. Yes, Ass-Rod, I'm looking your way.
