Around here they do. We have so many damn St. Louis transplants that live here in KC...it's goddam infuriating.
At the bar last night, all the KC locals were rooting on the Mets, merely to spite the few Cards fans who were in attendance. They got so miffed when we cheered Chavez's catch, they had to leave. Which was great, cuz they weren't there to gloat when Beltran WATCHED STRIKE THREE IN THE BOTTOME OF THE 9TH OF GAME 7 OF THE NLCS............unbelievable. On 10/19/06, Crow T.
