In case anyone noticed I was missing last week. The wife and I were vacationing in Bermuda.
The good: Bermuda is beautiful, it's more civilized than Jamaica (where we spent our honeymoon), the snorkeling is great and... we got to see a wild sea turtle. the not so good: Took a cruise ship (Empress of the Seas), cruising the Atlantic is nothing like cruising the Carribean or the Gulf, the water is MUCH rougher. Plus the Empress is the smallest ship in Royal Carribean's fleet. Rough water plus small ship equals MUCH motion (and not of the good kind) I was seasick Sunday night going out, Mandy was seasick Friday coming back (even with a scope patch). Being a small ship, there wasn't much to do on board, except gamble (I suck), eat (food's free), drink (alchohol isn't) and well y'know. Bermuda is f'ing expensive, ate dinner once on the island and spent almost $130 on drinks and dinner. I think I'm cruised out for a while Scott A.
