It's not fair that you take this out of context and make me do the research.

In an interview with Diane Sawyer May 17th of 2000 he explained not
taking his medication before testifying.

MJ Fox: I didn't take it deliberately as some kind of theatrical
thing, but it seemed right for me to -- to be uncomfortable in that
situation.

Rush said he watched him many times this year on Boston Legal and
never swayed. That would mean that they managed to film him not
swaying so is it for theatrics?
