Unfortunately Maryland does use them and the @#&*$*# Secretary of Elections
will not concede that there is anything wrong with either the machines or
how they handle elections.  I also happen to live in the County where they
didn't deliver the access cards so no one could vote for hours after the
polls opened. (Not enough provisional ballots).  

The whole thing is ridiculous.  I'm voting absentee.  At least there is a
paper trail and no way to pervert my vote in an access database.

Thankfully no one in Louisiana uses the Diebold machines for voting on
election day.  Every precinct in the state uses the Sequoia Advantage ADV
machines.  No Winders CE here and all of the locks are replaced with more
secure locks.
