Unfortunately Maryland does use them and the @#&*$*# Secretary of Elections will not concede that there is anything wrong with either the machines or how they handle elections. I also happen to live in the County where they didn't deliver the access cards so no one could vote for hours after the polls opened. (Not enough provisional ballots).
The whole thing is ridiculous. I'm voting absentee. At least there is a paper trail and no way to pervert my vote in an access database. Every precinct in the state uses the Sequoia Advantage ADV machines. No Winders CE here and all of the locks are replaced with more secure locks. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:218541 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
