To date, I've bought two items off of infomercials. The first, the RonCo Rotisserie, turned out to be a pretty good deal. It made the best salmon indoors that you could do.
The second arrived yesterday. The swivel sweeper. It's a motorized swiffer in essence. This thing is pretty darn good. I've got around 2000 s.f. of hardwood in my house and it took me all of about 10 minutes to "sweep" it all. The battery pack still has quite a bit of charge so that's not a worry. It's a little louder than I expected, but nowhere near the level of a vacuum and the head of it's only about an 1 tall so it gets under everything.
