Yeah, I don't know why anyone is surprised that touch-screens get out of
synch with heavy use. Essentially, there has never been an application that
has resulted in such heavy use of touchscreens in a short period of time.
The only similar case would be atms in very heavily trafficked areas, like
Times Square in NYC, and even that is nothing compared to the usage these
screens will get on voting day.

Maybe they should ditch the touchscreens and go to atm-style button inputs,
which people already understand.
