Here's the thing... The SwiftBoat campaign's "facts" are largely based
on conjecture. In fact, if there is no written record of the first
Purple Heart on file with the Navy (as admitted on the Swift Boat
site: http://www.swiftvets.com/staticpages/index.php?page=Purple1),
then of course it is easy to claim that it doesn't show that the award
was legit. hrmm...

But I have yet to see _any_ documentation that he self-awarded.
