It's an out and out provocation. The religious don't want it. The Muslims don't want it. The Christians don't want it. Even the Jerusalem municipality doesn't want it. Who wants it? Those who are pushing a massively pro-secular, anti-religious agenda. Those same people who are willing to push for something seen as totally wrong in a holy city while stopping religious people from doing the same (and less). It proves that the Israeli government and power structure (such as the police to a MASSIVE degree) is anti-religious. When a Jew wants to pray on the temple mound or even outside the temple mound other than specific proscribed locations, they are restricted and even beaten. When religious Jews want to do something they are told that it will cause unrest and violence on the part of Muslims. But when Homosexuals want to have a parade, Israel is willing to task 12,000 (yes, that's twelve thousand) cops and border patrol officers to protect it, even to the point of weakening other parts of the country. The parade is a greater provocation to unrest than a Jew praying, but look where the priorities are. And watch what will happen. Muslims will blame the religious and start stoning worshipers at the wailing wall. The police will restrict Jews from the wall and there will be more and more unrest. Why? Because some people want to push an agenda that is foreign to Israel and especially Jerusalem. And will Israel provide 12,000 cops to protect a pro-heterosexuality parade? Would such a thing even be allowed? No chance. One sided bull shit. Pro-Black is good but pro-white is racist. Pro-homosexuality is good but pro-heterosexuality is bias. Pro-religious is backwards and anything anti-religious is seen as progressive. Wonderful world we're in.
Bottom line is that I think it's totally insane and will cause more pain that anything else. > Middle East Gay Pride Parade. > > http://www.emailthis.clickability. > com/et/emailThis?clickMap=viewThis&etMailToID=532777868 > > > > -- > "And if the cloud bursts thunder in your ear, you shout and no one > seems to hear, and if the band your in starts playing different tunes, > > I'll see you on the dark side of the moon" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Introducing the Fusion Authority Quarterly Update. 80 pages of hard-hitting, up-to-date ColdFusion information by your peers, delivered to your door four times a year. http://www.fusionauthority.com/quarterly Archive: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/message.cfm/messageid:219886 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/groups/CF-Community/subscribe.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5
