Since election turnout is usually much lower in a mid term election than a presidential election, we can be fairly certain that even if 100% of the voters go for the republican candidate, they would gain fewer than 1000 votes.. probably much fewer. > Anyone in Montana that can tell us whats going on? Tester now leads by 3,128 votes - his lead has increased since I last checked a half hour ago or so. some articles posted recently suggest that fewer than 900 ballots are expected out of Meagher County, so I do think they'd call a winner. Either way, we're almost certain to see a recount in Montana.
