I don't think they were uninformed.  I've heard some interviews with
Republicans where they said a constituent would walk up to them, shake
their hand, tell them that they've done a good job, then tell them
they're not voting for them this time.  I think a lot of voters took a
calculated risk this time.  They new that the only way to curtail Bush
was to take away the house and senate.  Pure strategery :)
