Well, we actually celebrate another holiday before Christmas, Thanksgiving. Not even really sure what it's supposed to commemorate...something about our pilgrim ancestors or something. What it's morphed into, at least in our community, is just a day to give thanks for all the blessings in your life.
That plus the fact that you don't have to buy anyone a present, makes Thanksgiving the best holiday of the year, imo.
