You might want to verify this but a salesman at a local store mentioned that
gaming on a plasma tv shortens its life. In my case the plasma as way more
expensive than the lcd I was looking at so I tend to think he was being
honest. I'm not seriously looking yet so I didn't do any research on it. My
Sony rear project is still going strong and probably has another 5 years
left in it yet.

We both have to work on Black Friday. My wife works for Wal-mart and
they got an additional 10% off any one item, both of these are
available at her store  so they are the only two options but at a full
20% off either way it is a good deal. Between the two which is the
better way to go for gamers.
