Certain things are "traditional" when it comes to thankgiving dinner. One of the thingsy is corn - which of course you can't get fresh anywhere this time of year. That's okay though, I'm fine with canned corn.
My problem is that my family seems to think "Green Bean Casserole" is a thanksgiving tradition. Gross. i don't like green beans as it is and haven't eaten them since I moved away from home. Also, I know it's traditional that the Lions play on Thanksgiving Day. But c'mon, it's been a long time since anyone really wanted to watch the Lions. I think they should schedule the previous year's superbowl opponents against each other in the thanksgiving day game. Besides, it's not the same if it's not Detroit-Chicago like it used to be. *THAT* was the Thanksgiving tradition. Lions v. Bears. Final gripe of the day... Best Buy has the Westinghouse 32" LCD TV on sale tomorrow morning for $497. I paid $1500 for my 30" Westinghouse 2 years ago =) Sigh. Happy thanksgiving, y'all!
