It's funny, I've been doing this for a long assed time, but didn't find CF
until CF 4.0.

Way back in 95-96 when I was young and stupid a friend and I decided to
start a small web dev company doing basic web sites and some Perl stuff. It
really flopped, and that's when I went in the military.

Fast forward to 1999. I had just deployed to the Sinai as part of a peace
keeping force around the time that the intifada kicked back off, and when
the cole bombing happened.

I wrote a web site for our company, so that the commander could write a news
letter for the wives and families to read.

Then the commander and top got me a deal writing some sites up for local
dive schools (Sharm El Sheik), for free, but I got to dive free, and my unit
got big discounts. Good shit.

I ended up setting up a coloc box with CF Express on it. Been hooked ever
since.

Started fulltime in Feb 2001, was certified in Apr 2001.

Hell, I love this language and the evolution it's gone through.
