I was there in 2001, and really had a sense of being "home". It's a
beautiful country with warm and inviting people. I had a couple of job
offers, and seriously entretained the idea of buying a house in Inverness
and not coming back.

I was about 12 when my parents took me over there. I had read everything
written about Loch Ness, knew all of the stories, was, naturally, a
staunch
believer in Nessie. I knew all the landmarks, the various spots along the
road where different sightings had occurred...you name it.

So when my parents took me there...i mean...it was like a religious
experience. I remember having a chill go all through me when I walked down
to the shore and actually dipped my hand into the water...all the while
half
expecting a 65 million year old Pleiseasaur to jump out and pull me under.
