Really? Why? Why can't I believe in Christ's divinity but that he
didn't rise from the dead? Who's defined Christianity to so convince
you that there aren't 1000 forms of it?

As to those in church who don't believe in every aspect, that's true.
How many of them openly discuss it every Sunday with one another? No,
the rule there is pretend you agree. At least don't openly show you
don't.

The fact that people choose to ignore their religion doesn't mean
religion is good; it means people instinctively know it's bad and are
choosing to ignore it. They just like the other aspects. Kind of
like people who like bars w/ smokers, but don't smoke.

In every religion there's one source of truth. For Catholicism it's
the Pope. He defines the religion and if you don't agree with every
principle then you're not Catholic.

The fact is that the basis of religion is intolerance - people may try
to ignore that part, but it's still the basis. And it's not a debate
there: that's a fact.

Want proof? Go to any "Christian" church and say you'd like to join
but have a WAY different idea of Christianity. They'll tell you to
get the heck out. That is, they won't tolerate you. Because of their
religion. QED.
