And Samsung introduced the first Hybrid Harddisk. With integrated
nonvolatile FLASH memory. They are aiming it at notebook computers
where frequently used files can be stored in the Flash memory without
the harddisk having to spin up etc. Increasing speed, and saving
battery power as well.
