I can't imagine what it'll be like to have to say goodbye to Finnegan or MacGregor. I only hope I can handle it as well as you have. The rock garden is a cool idea, just make sure you leave someplace for Rocky to pee, when he comes down to check up on you.
Rescue kennels can be heartbreaking, you get in there and want to take 'em all home, they all want your attention and love and you only have room for one. The rescue place that we got Finnegan (http://www.foha.org) really tugs at your heartstrings. On top of all the dogs and cats they have, they have a memorial walk, with dedications to pets that have passed away. We had just lost little Spike, when we went down there to meet Finnegan. When we came across the memorial walk, we just stood there and cried. Liily sounds like a sweet little girl, I hope she knows what kind of good home she's going to. Godspeed, Rockstar... Scott A. Stewart/REAC/HHQ/HUD) Subject: Rockman down. so, as it was supps to go, it went, and my son has passed. it was his time, he is in a better place, and as i never could understand when people talked about this before... i kinda feel him all around me... like a protection just around me... weird, hard to explain, but it makes sense now... anyway... i just wanted to tell everyone thank you very much for your kind words, and support through all these months and years now that i have been around you all. when we left the vet, we took a nice long country road ride with a nice fat spliff, listened to some music, and just thought about the rockman. anyway, we are making a rock garden at the house, in honor of Rocky, and hope to keep it going as long as we are alive. he was a special person to me, quite special, and not even a dog, as most of you dog lovers/owners already know. so our next stop, was the humane society, where i chose to rescue a light brindle pit mix... she is vanilla colored brindle with stripes like rocky had and has yellow eyes... she is still a pup, 14-16 week old, and was the only one in the humane society kennels NOT BARKING :) her name is lilly, and we will hopefully have her by the 21st... im sure rocky will approve she is quite the hottie! -- 'Never have anything in your life that you can't walk out on in thirty seconds flat, if you spot the heat coming around the corner' robert deniro - heat (1995) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Create robust enterprise, web RIAs.
