Depends on how much ordinance you usually carry with you. That's right
across the line from Glassmanor, which used to be mostly boarded up
with lots of squatters and drug markets. This information is not from
my most recent stay in DC so things may have improved somewhat, but
I'd strongly suggest that you check the area out at night, and look at
Sandy's link. At the time I was one of the few taxi drivers that would
go in there at night.
