Erika, You're right, of course. I'm just frustrated. It's taking me days to find someone who sells CF at anything but full list price. Normally I would have joined in the jokes, but I'm a little short for time at this point.
Maybe now that CF is owned by Adobe whatever restrictions / policies regarding OEM / bulk / discount that may have previously existed can be relaxed so there can be more low-cost buy-in options for potential customers / developers. Agreed, the price tag is a bargain when you consider the speed at which you can create / maintain an application, but there comes a point when some developers may want to crank out turn-keys, and the current pricing makes those kinds of scenarios a little difficult to swallow.
