Calling a credit card company...

Citibank:  "Please touch tone or speak your 16 digit account number now."

Me:             "4111 1411 1411 1414"

Citibank:       "Thank you, please hold."

Wait a minute.

Citibank (live person): "How can I help you?"

Me:             "I have a question about a charge"

Citibank:       "Ok. Can I have your account number please?"

Me:             "hmmm......."

Subject: Pet Peeve

One of my biggest pet peeves is you call up a service to cancel your
account, I understand that the representative tries to keep you as a
customer.
However, after the 3rd time of indicating: "No thanks, I want to cancel
the service" that the rep continues to keep you.
 
At what point do you say :  "Look Dammit! Do you understand the words
coming out of my mouth??? CANCEL MY DAMN ACCOUNT!"
 
Sorry does this bother anyone else or do I need to see psychiatric help?
