the fact that I made it to this age alive is proof there is a God, and 
proof
that he is very forgiving.

I made a list a few years ago of the times I _should_ have died, and it 
was
over a page long.

Breaking off big chunks of ice and floating on them down river. And then
trying to get to shore as they melted under you?

Jumping from treetop to treetop in a cedar forest, and falling 30 feet 
onto
my head?

Building a ramp at the bottom of a steep hill, and riding a bike down it 
at
top speed, aiming for a cherry tree, to see who could get themselves AND
their bike stuck highest in the tree?

bb gun fights in shorts and tshirts?

bottle rocket fights from moving cars in traffic?

We were some stoopid kids.
