Naw, this has nothing to do with Bush really. His policies are in place and have had their effect and now he's a lame duck so he's not really moving any opinions. What the data says at this tiny second is that business spending is not picking up like it was expected (you have minus out transportation). That having been said, consumer spending isn't dropping as much as expected. So really this could be the beginning of something ... or not. I just need to affirm my Dark Cloud by pointing it out. Also we're almost done paying off 150k of student loans (final check goes 1 week!) so we want to shift that money to savings. You know, to guard against a recession.
