My thought is that the era of corporations has given way to an era of
professional managers who conspire to take compensation out of all
proportion to their worth. They conspire with their colleagues who sit on
their boards, they ignore the interests of shareholders, and they pretend
that they deserve the money they are being paid. I've seen it firsthand.
Mercenary executives come into a company built by other people and
intentionally cut out their employees in order to plunder the company of its
wealth.

What is the answer to this conspiracy of management against the little guy
in the corporate world? I don't know, but the situation is totally unhealthy
for our country and for capitalism in general.
