Those changes occurred as part of the natural warming and cooling
cycles of the planet.

Not one scientist denies that there IS a natural warming and cooling cycle.

The PROBLEM is that the current warming cycle is growing exponentially.

The last 420,000 (http://pubs.acs.org/hotartcl/est/99/apr/learn.html)
years basically look like gentle rolling hills the last hundred like
we've suddenly hit a mountain. and at the top of the mountain, the
last ~50 years, we're almost vertical in Greenhouse emissions.
