That 30,000 write limitation is something that affects old flash
devices. Newer devices have write cycles into the millions.

Otherwise they could not be used in hard disks, which they are as of
this year. Seagate has hybrid drives with 32Gigs of Flash memory etc.

In some cases it has cut windows boot from 40seconds to 14 seconds.
