To be blunt, that will NEVER work. Capitalism is the solution to all problems so let's apply it here just as GreenPeace learned to do with environmentalism. And what's more environmental than this? So, I like the carbon tax, I like a Gas tax if it's guaranteed to go to funding roads (no matter what engines are in 'em, vehicles use roads). My theory is that if truly WANT an alternative to oil, buy the most inefficient car you can; and burn gasoline baby! W00t! ahem ... sorry .... anyway ...
