A bold prediction I'll grant you but I base it on this: (1.) Boldness is genius. Which makes my prediction and his candidacy genius. (2.) The country wants change - big change. They were willing to crush the Republicans during wartime for the opposition who had given no plan, no ideas, really did nothing. (3.) Bush will continue to drag down his party with signing statements, Iraq feck ups, power grabs, etc, and by the time of the election the first signs baby boomer financial hell will be here. Yes, a 20% approval rating can shrink. (4.) A shining light of fatherly leadership like McCain has put himself into the "more troops" camp and seems to have sold out. (5.) This week's People Magazine has a beefcake picture of Obama walking out of the Hawaiian surf in his swimsuit; it looks youthful, hopeful, and aspirational. And it looks EXACTLY like the picture of JFK before he was elected.
