how about Al-Sadr's government supported Mahdi Army?  Or how about
when the government supports Hezbollah?  Are we for the government

Dude.  It's a civil war.  By definition that means everyone against
everyone.  Government workers against government workers.  There is no
"government".  There's just a bunch of people who haven't figured out
who's their friend and who's their enemy.

Sometimes it's "that guy!" other times it the US Marine Corps.
