My wife and I have been bouncing around the idea of moving to Raleigh.... not only is the housing market less than half of the expense of DC's but she's got friends down there, I've got friends down there. It all really hinges on me finding work in the Raleigh area.
To make things interesting, there been a series of omens (coincedenses?) that make it seem that somebody's trying to tell us something. These are the most obvious ones. 1) Mandy's mom and dad, have said they were thinking of moving back there also, we'd never discussed it before. 2) We watch extreme makeover, home edition, next weeks episode is from Raleigh NC. 3) We were planning on going down the weekend after her birthday, the 22 of March... just so happens that the Washington Capitols are playing the Carolina Hurricaines in Raleigh 4) The recruitment company that got my current job for me is opening an office in Raleigh, the recruiter I worked with is from Raleigh. He's tlaking to some contacts down there on my behalf I'm thinking I might want to take the hint... Scott A.
