ok well... my update is that there have whiteout conditions south of here on I-25... and I told my father, who is on his way here from Big Bend.. that this was probably the safest way to come ;\
any other winter it would have dry and clear too. Ah well, he lives in Britain but he has seen snow a time or two ;) when we lived in Canada. But of course the old coot doesn't have a cell phone.... harumph. Hopefully he believed me when I told him to check the road conditions at every stop. Meanwhile, Albuquerque got a few inches and it's currently blue skies and wind chill factor here....
