Mine's not so steep - but it is a hill (it raises perhaps 4-5 feet in 20
feet then levels off).  It also opens to an alley, not to the street
(luckily the guy across from us put up a steel-reinforced barricade so that
if I do slip down the driveway in the car I won't hit his house.)

Of course the house itself is on the valley wall - a coupla hundred feet
down to the valley floor (Scranton City center) and about 40 feet up to the
ridge line and Route 81.  My office is then on a mountain top.

So even if I do take all the effort to shovel out I may still not be able to
go anyplace until the city does their bit.
